    Women are a special interest group, and you know the GOP will never give in to special interest groups.

    Cogent, to the point, and most of all true.

    Excellent and so true. The GOP is interested only in women as machines for producing more males.

    Personhood for women?
    .
    Ask Ted, The Swimmer, Kennedy. Oops, he can’t answer.
    .
    Ask John, Two Americas, Edwards. Oops, he won’t answer.
    .
    Ask Bill, The Energizer Bunny, Clinton. Oops, he just left with a campaign aide.

    Both parties have had their fair share of men who couldn’t control their zippers. For every Democratic Edwards there’s a Republican Sanford. For every Democratic Clinton there’s a Republican Ensign. Men being controlled by their second brain is quite bipartisan. Which has zip to do with Republicans (and certainly not all of them) who want to take away a woman’s right to control her own body.

    Excuse me, but what on earth does that have to do with the topic? Are you suggesting that because three politicians (and a whole lot more on both sides, I imagine) are lecherous, this therefore makes the personhood of women an irrelevant point?

    maybe when democrats agree to personhood for the unborn

    @cdward

    The word “lecherous” is far too kind for accurate description of the actions toward women for the three individuals named.
    .
    However, the addition of “on both sides” is appropiate.
