Michael Jackson made a lot of sound but I doubt his mind was.

How about mathematician, author and education advocate Danica McKellar of the Wonder Years, she has a math degree from UCLA where she coauthored a scientific paper.

The Harry Potter stars look like they’re keeping their heads, too. So much depends on the people they are surrounded with and what they do in their downtime (including whether they get any). Michael was on 24/7 and his father’s protests aside, THAT was a form of abuse in and of itself. He never got to be a kid.

Fans of Battlestar Galactica and Quantum Leap may not be aware that Dean Stockwell (Brother Cavil in BSG and “Al” in QL) was also a ‘child star’… The Boy With Green Hair (1948).
