Don’t you remember the old “Dick Van Dyke Show”? It’s a Ding! Probably worth millions of $ on “Antique Road Show.”

    The “Chronicles of Fidik.”

After that, no potato was safe.
A new agitator group, People Against Flying Potatoes, was formed to stop the carnage.
One of our reporters asked a short order cook about the practice. The cook said “it makes making hash browns fun. You put a cooked spud in the launcher and aim it it at a colander…”

The Fidik is clearly a device designed for removing the complex stains left by using a rutaclachet.

Ahhhh……the rare potato version of the fidik.
Cheaper ones use lesser vegetables like turnips or yams.

It vaguely reminds me of Gary Larson’s Attention Getting Device. . .

Rube Goldbergs lesser known attempt at kitchen utensils.
