   I’ve used this recipe:
   500g of mashed potatoes
   100g of plain flour
   50g of butter
   Pinch of salt

   I don’t think I would want to add caster sugar.

   fine granulated…you can use regular sugar just as well (or just grind it down a bit, if you prefer, so it dissolves more easily).

   Hi StelBel, I have never used it, and have seen “extra fine” sugar next to confectioner, that’s probably close enough

    yes, but don’t use confectioners…use extra fine or just whirl some regular sugar in a food processor:)

    Nope—confectioners sugar has corn starch. It doesn’t work for most things…
