Creator Larry Wright, now retired, served as editorial/op-ed page cartoonist at The Detroit News for 30 years, drawing three editorial cartoons a week. Wright is a past president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Naoko and cat, Domino.

But sometimes you accidentally press another button. The remote was beside me and slipped between the cushions. It took me ten minutes of panickstricken button pushing to get the picture back.

The latest episode was with my Telus Optik. I was watching a recorded show and trying to ff through the commercials. When I pushed Play, the program would pick up at random places. I turned the tv off and went to bed.
