Creator Larry Wright, now retired, served as editorial/op-ed page cartoonist at The Detroit News for 30 years, drawing three editorial cartoons a week. Wright is a past president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Naoko and cat, Domino.

With the exception that I was a red head at Kit’s age and my Carlyle (aka. Bo) has a bit more white on him, this picture could have been taken at my house before my husband kicked me out of the kitchen. I didn’t marry him for money, I married him for his cooking. lol
