Every cat’s stomach can tell time and will wake you up when they usually get fed.

My cat actually wakes me up 10 minutes before my alarm clock is set to go off even when I change it. She also wakes me up to let me know if anyone inside or outside the house is stirring.

But, if I’m awake, it must be time for her to get up and feed me!

When we were in the Air Force, stationed in New Jersey, one of our cats, Puck (as in Shakespear’s MidSummer Night …), would wake us up on the rare occasion that we got a day off together.
.
The room was so small that he could sneak up the bed, and then to the tall chest of drawers in 2 small, 2 foot leaps. Then he’d leap down and land between us on the water bed and the resulting tsumami would almost wash us out of the bed!
.
by the time we got settled again, he’d be in the kitchen, with the others, waiting for breakfast.
