That is one piece of advice I received before we got our first cat: “A cat will not use a dirty litter box.”

My big boy (my icon) doesn’t like to use the litter box. When it’s raining and he has to go out, it’s always my fault.

Creator Larry Wright, now retired, served as editorial/op-ed page cartoonist at The Detroit News for 30 years, drawing three editorial cartoons a week. Wright is a past president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Naoko and cat, Domino.
