    I’ve actually read several reports of Oscars (which is a species of fish, for those who aren’t aware, scientific name Astronotus ocellatus) biting/attacking cats.

    Of course, if you want an Oscar to live, a “fish bowl” is the last thing you want to keep it in. For that matter, the same is true for just about every species of fish. “Fish bowls” are death traps for fish.
