It appears that someone is going furniture shopping . . . either that, or is going to have to start hanging her art works lower.

I’m glad Carlyle was not declawed; it’s a sadistic mutilation procedure.

Ever watch “My Cat From Hell?” They featured one cat who used to poop outside the litter box. Turns out he/she was declawed, and the scratching hurt her/his paws so much that the cat refused to use the box. Was at the vet the other day, there was a woman who wanted to have her cat declawed. I tried my best to dissuade her – no use.

Carlyle: You’re going to be in the doghouse for that.

Declawed cats are said to be more likely to bite than cats with claws. Declawed cats can have health issues with their feet. Basically, the operation amputates the first digit of each toe. Cats walk on their toes.

I’m glad that declawing is illegal here. Whoever consideres declawing for any other than a true medical reason should be denied owning an animal at all. If you consider it your right to mutilate an animal so that it is one nuisance less – get a furcoat, that is even less trouble and about as thoughtless. And the animal doesnt suffer any more from your stupidity.
