I’m pretty sure that’s why my cat sits in my lap most of the time.

I am a feline Bun-Warmer. No question. As soon as I get home it’s “I need a lap. My tushie’s freezing!”

2 of our cats hang around the office waiting for someone to use the computer so they can have lap time, so far this morning I’ve had each of them with me for a little while

My cat only gets affectionate when he wants to eat! The only way to get him to leave you alone is to feed him. Then he might come back and actually snuggle, but not usually!

Without human laps, cats could only use their tongues to lap up milk & water.

My dog always sits by me with one paw on me so she knows when I get up
