“Homo pies?” Really? That’s what you’re going with? That’s what it says to you? SMH

If you’re that hung up on homosexuality, you’re probably a closet homosexual.

And I’m not hung up at all: I’m an out lesbian. Build a bridge and get over it.

Obama hired a lot of the same advisers as Clinton and Bush, jr, but, of course, Clinton and Obama didn’t follow their advice like Bush, jr did.

After all, the 9/11 attack happened on Clinton’s watch, and the crash of ‘08 was entirely caused by Obama’s failed policies. Bush, jr kept the US safe from terrorist attacks and kept the economy running smoothly with no inflation or unemployment for his entire term of office.

But I can’t follow the cartoon. Two pies have been taken from their shelves, and the Democrats and Republicans are each holding a pie, but both are already covered with pies that were previously pitched. Where did they procure the prior pies?

They got the pies from the taxpayers. And, as I have said before, with the taxpayer paying and government money is not real money the pies can be replaced at an exceptional speed.

“Its no wonder China and Canada are over taking us economically.”

China, with a population of 1.4 billion (19.3% of the world population), should have had a larger GDP than the U.S. has decades ago. China can thank Chairman Mao and his minions that it didn’t happen yet. It’s amazing that the U.S. (Population 318 million, 4.4% of world population) is still ahead of China or India.

For 90% of the world’s history (which started about 5,000 years ago) the Chinese were the wealthiest, most advanced nation. Then, in 1422, they discovered the Amish religion, centuries before the Amish: If Confucius didn’t have it, we don’t need it. And China turned from an incipient industrial revolution to a nation of small farmers.

Then the Manchu and the British easily conquered China, and the British robbed them blind. But the British were shareful about China, and gave huge mercantile concession not just to every other European nation, but also to the US and to Japan. All of whom also robbed their concessions blind.

Now China is slowly returning to its natural place among all the nations of the world.

    But it will get there.

Nice reply. But maybe Alcors3 hasn’t seen many pie charts in color, just black and white.

And I am so borrowing that Bridge line.

I think he actually means the stats get so massaged they can mean anything. Which is why I go to the sources and do my own. Which generally makes EVERYONE mad at me, but so it goes. And is very annoying in the instance of unpublished or expensive raw numbers. REALLY annoying when those were produced with public funding.
