Hypothetically speaking, of course.
Everyone knows the VAT tax in England (which makes goods cost 2 to 3 times as much as in America) is doing so well for the people of England. God save the Queen. And all her offspring yadda yadda yadda.

So then be the first editorial cartoonist to refuse to use it again. Please. I beg you.

@Ms. Ima
The facts that you post are truly remarkable.

@mr imadunce,
That’s redundant. Saying VAT tax is saying “value added tax tax”. The T in VAT is tax. It’s like saying ATM machine which is saying “automatic teller machine machine” because the M in ATM is machine. BTW, is that a capital I in Ima or a lower case L?
Ms. Ima said, 5 months ago
@Clark Kent
There is no value added in a tax.
People do ask ’where’s the ATM machine’ all the time.
Is that a capital I or lower case L in ‘Clark’? I’m just DYING to know.

I fear we are stuck with the cliff just as we are with the gate.

You said that you don’t get msnbc up where you live. It is too bad that the website only has short video clips. Even Letterman has whole shows posted. Maybe Hulu?

I noted your comment about not getting MSNBC. Think about getting satellite radio. They have several good channels with both left and right political commentary, including MSNBC. Total of about 120 channels. Cost is about $4/month via the Internet and about $15 per month on a radio. I have satellite in the auto, so I’m not sure if this gives me a reduced rate.
