Retire all politicians over 65. They are out of touch. And yeah I think we are getting a real Democrat in November.

I’m assuming he’s referring to Sestak.
Gladius said, almost 3 years ago
I haven’t had the time to take a close look at Sestak’s record. The various versions of that situation depend on who you are talking to. The only conclusion I have come to is that it was badly handled. We’ll see if any more accurate details surface.

^^ So what is a real Republican–one who lies but doesn’t get caught?
Aquarianne said, almost 3 years ago
@zekedog55:
Every single one of them. e.g. Palin, McCain, Bush, Cheney, Limbaugh, Beck, Sanford, etc., etc., etc.

zekedog55, oh they get caught, but apparently neither they nor their party, nor apparently the Amercian public, has the ethical standards to demand an accounting.
Aquarianne, don’t forget Vitter, Gingrich, Craig.

Howie, I went back and checked. Sestak himself does not seem to have claimed that he was offered the SECNAV job. It was one of the possibilities floated when he said he had received a job offer and then clammed up. The problem is that the offer the WH claimed was made deosn’t seem to make any sense.(RE: my post on Wilkinson’s ‘toon)

Marylin vos Savant gives a nifty explanation concerning …”the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth…” in today’s Parade.

According to the report he was not offered the SECNAV position nor was anything illegal done.
Gladius said, almost 3 years ago
Jade, My concerns have moved beyond legal/illegal. My concerns lie with how the incident was handled. It does not instill me with confidence in the President’s WH team.
