Too British… the USA as a boiling tea kettle? Not bloody likely, mate!

Unless Kal was insinuating the Republican party, in a very subtle way. This almost looks like the ubiquitous elephant logo. The GOP is always at a dangerous boil.

Well, HQ, a teapot does tend to boil, before it makes good tea. Or, here in Texas, in the hill country, we just use the microwave and heat a cup at a time. The heat comes from a stove, microwave, open burner, grill, etc.
This is an icon painted with the colors of the USA.
The artist, feels that the country is under pressure, obviously.
Now that we have described, and analyzed our painting, we can render judgment.
Do we understand what the artist is communicating to us as an audience?
I get the sense that he sees our country as being about to boil over, from too many pressures, bank scandals, recession, crooked ceos, wars brought to our own soil with agressors, etc, etc,.
So, I agreed with Kevin G. and said, Yeah, we’re about to boil over. And then some.
Every thing clear now?
