    So true!

All that because of a bunch of insecure conservatives scared of a black president and women getting birth control. SAVE THE WHITE MEN!!!

Gerrymandering has created situations like Pennsylvania’s. Obama won 52 percent of the 2012 vote state-wide but the House delegation has 13 Republicans and 5 Democrats. How’s that working out for the Country? How’s about non-partisan commissions draw up the voting districts, eh? Isn’t it about time democracy meant what the Constitution says?

Now that 400,000 DOD civilian workers have been called back to work, that means even less of the government is not working.Mostly the park service. If Harry/Barrycan shut down the park service and national parks and 93% of the EPA on a whim those departments must really be nonessential.Or is this just another dog and pony show put on by the dems for the easily duped?

Every head of state, president (Dem or Rep), governor (Dem or Rep), mayor, etc., etc. instinctively knows that, if the government ‘shuts down’ you close the most popular programmes and deem essential all the unpopular programmes.

We’ve seen states run out of money. So, since they can’t afford to pay lifeguards, every beach is closed. Of course, the guards to make sure no one swims cost as much or more than lifeguards, but the governor makes his point, voters vote to restore the state government, and the state government leaders are happy.

A mother skunk sent one of her sons to find his brother In, and then asked him how he did it so quickly, and the young skunk replied, ‘In stinked.’

“Congress” has always kept their salaries coming, even keeping pay increases while refusing them to federal employees and the military, usually, but not always, under Republican “leadership” in “fiscal responsibility”.

Yeah Liberals are quick to pull the race card. Silly Republicans retreat. But no one cares if women get birth control. Just when they expect someone else to pay for it.

Conservative wisdom now holds that blacks are the racists. Yet, people with white sounding names are 50% more likely to get a response to a job application than people with black sounding names.

The GOP backs the right for employers to ban contraceptives from insurance coverage, despite the fact that most employees pay at least half of the cost of their insurance.

Rick Santorum campaigned on his hostility to birth control: “It’s not OK. It’s a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. … If it’s not for purposes of procreation, then you diminish this very special bond between men and women.” He isn’t the only guy talking like that in the GOP.

Is Rick Santorum aware of this?
