It’s OK with you clown’s for Assad to gas any one he chooses. It’s fine for America to lose face around the world. It is not just this administration that has allowed this atrocity grow to a world problem. Any reasonable human that has seen the news reports of the dead and dieing children in Syria knows we have to act. The right will oppose any act out of Washington that is supported by the President. It has nothing to do with right or wrong only that Pres.Obama must be berated.

Harley; I suggest you pick up “Under Fire; the Untold Story of the Attack in Benghazi” Burton and Katz. Even the introduction is enough to blow away all your BS on that incident, and it was known, and ignored, by folks from the beginning, but fantasies have long overridden andy facts for the “conservative argument”. The mission was NOT a well-secured embassy, like many others around the world, and there was no way to have provided the response idiots on the right think was possible under the circumstances. As just one example there was NO armed C-130, or armed drone, anywhere near close enough to have responded to the attack, period. Read the book, and stop propagating the bull.

My issue with sending in some drones or cruise missiles is that there doesn’t seem to be “good guys” on either side of the Syrian conflict. What if Assad’s gov’t falls? The rebels are a mix of various factions, some of which aren’t even Syrian (mercenaries sent there by the Saudis and Qatar). We are not going to see the masses holding hands and singing Kumbaya. The unrest that follows may make Egypt look relatively calm. Then what?

Harley: You can go back to my posts right after the attack and note two key things: 1. I never felt it was “spontaneous”, but a rather well planned attack on an American outpost in a very dangerous place, in response to decades of U.S. attacks on Arab/Islamic states, groups, and individuals. 2. I have stated since the beginning that this was an annex, NOT AN EMBASSY, and lacked the security systems and personnel that would have been “available” to an embassy. And well 3. I also maintained from the beginning there were no “stand down orders” per se, because any significant support was NOT available in a timely enough manner, and conflicts with international law, and “host country agreements” prevented some of the irrational claims the “righties” made as options, never existed.

Stevens’ own family came out soon after and said he took the assignment knowing the danger of the location, accepted the risk, and they did NOT blame anyone at State or in the Administration.

All of the above, and more, is explained fully in the book i cite, but as it’s more than a 12 second repetitive sound byte from Rush, and over two paragraphs long, I realize it’s beyond the attention span of you, or any of the others constantly shouting “Benghazi”, with absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of the FACTS, or any “need to know”, to blow your horns.

This, along with the looney-toons go-round on Syria, is distressing at best, because I not only know people affected by these kinds of actions, but am related to participants, and have taken part myself in similar circumstances in the past. I know this upsets you, and my pet troll “onguard”, but it’s simply the facts: Believe it or not, some folks have actual life experiences to judge from, know people who DO these things, AND are well-read and informed by sound sources, note propagandistic, idiotic web sites(or media blabbermouths), before they make up their minds on current local, regional, and world affairs.

Parker, that’s one word for it, but a couple “s” words might be more appropriate to describe? The “Know Nothing” party is not a thing of the past, but with us every day on these pages!

There are kids dying all over the world. Are the Syrian’s any deader by gas than by, bullet, bomb, or machete? No. Remember W had 48 other counties go to Iraq. Barry has how many? France, really France? We might as well not have any one, oh wait we don’t . We are the US and Barry, a Nobel Peace Prize winner want’s to make war. Why, he said he doesn’t want to kick out Assad, he said said it will be short lived, he said no boots on the ground, seems we can’t trust what Barry tells us. Why are the calls to DC 95%+ to not go to war.

Well there were at least 30 armed CIA people on the ground, they were told to stand down. There were 300 missiles missing for Benghazi, that’s the coverup. Barry let the 4 die, at the time no one knew how long it would go on, there were troops 4 hours a way, if you son or husband was there, would you want some one to come help?
