    The scandals are not limited to the Catholic church. The biggest difference is that others have not tried to cover for the offenders. (The Boy Scouts have though.)

    It would be a pleasant change to see and hear people address criticism instead of immediately attacking the speaker. Issues must be addressed, not buried.

    Once again you show that you don’t know the Catholic faith. The Catholic faith teaches us to have a “preferential option” for the poor and needy. It is not just Pope Francis.

    And you will probably gag on his encyclicals when he won’t allow for gay priests, homosexual marriage, women priests, and Socialism in the Church.

    No. You DON’T know the Catholic Church. When you have read, digested, and understood the Catholic Catechism, then you will know the Catholic Church.

    What you think is the Catholic Church are some men who failed morally. As you say, they are hypocrites. But they are not the Catholic Church any more than the KKK is the United States of America. I honestly don’t know what is so hard about that to understand. The failures within an organization do not represent the organization. They represent their own hypocrisy for failing to be what they are supposed to be.
