Ken Catalino is a conservative cartoonist who is happiest puncturing balloons filled with the lightweight gas of liberal idealism. This doesn’t prevent him from criticizing conservatives on occasion, if reason and rationality are violated

The devil made him do it.
Yeah, it had absolutely nothing to do with his wack job of a mother and his upbringing centered around paranoia and guns.

Forgot negative atitudes about mental illness and therapy.

Funny. I was bullied as a teenager, I’ve played video games (some of them violent) for years, I’m a firearms enthusiast… and I’ve never been in so much as a fistfight, and the thought of actually harming another living creature (especially a fellow human), except in cases of great need, makes me sick.
I guess my (single) mom did a better job of raising me than most….

The latest speculation is that his mother was filing court papers to have him committed and that made him really angry.

So many “experts” sending us in so many directions with contradictory studies and conflicting ideas as to cause and cure of a problem, and we, in our ignorance, jump on the cause or cure that best fits our personal beliefs as gospel and vociferously preach that gospel and call all others heretics. We certainly are a rational race of beings!?

The problem really is Congress’ refusal to fund any program for treatment of the mentally ill. Easier to act shocked and talk evil about gun owners than to actually spend money alleviating the problems caused by Congress’ inaction. I suppose it’s because crazy people don’t make “campaign contributions” or hire K Street lobbyists.

I think this cartoon pretty much sums it all up…

You mean there actually is something called evil? Well then let’s just ban evil. Congress should make evil illegal.
That’ll do it!
narrowminded said, 5 months ago
Seriously, there is an answer to this.
His name is Jesus Christ.
dannysixpack said, 5 months ago
^which begs the question,
what kind of assault weapon would jesus christ own? would he own more than one? who would he shoot with it? would he shoot to kill, or just to wound? How big a magazine would he own? Hollowpoint bullets?
Please tell us narrowminded, since you speak for the christ? we would all really like to know.
