    This conduct is not limited to officers, nor to males. Usually it is pursuit of someone by a civilian who “Just love the uniform.” I say, “Why not enlist?” Evidently Broadwell did enlist in the Reserves….. to get closer to the uniformed?

    President Eisenhower was, as I recall, involved with his secretary at some point. So do we dismantle every person’s life for infidelity that seems so ubiquitous? The governments of the World would come to a standstill.

    Remember when the bluenoses got upset because in his interview with Playboy, Jimmie Carter just said “He’d lusted in his heart”? Security doesn’t ever seem to have been compromised, which is why the FBI said “no big deal”. (None actually.)


    Now as to Issa’s “investigations” and panels that HAVE revealed classified material, because he’s an ego in search of a body, and becoming an idiot, along with the others on his committee- THERE is a real danger to America. Drive him out of Congress, NOW Mr. Boehner.

    Unless someone has a post showing where Gen. Petraeus failed to protect women he knew were being harassed under his command, this Cartoon is very offensive. It has all the editorial integrigty of a badly drawn graffiti in a truck stop bathroom. The General has had his career ended and is struggling to keep a three decade old marriage together. Putting him in “stocks” on the public square and throwing refuse at him is just tacky, and dishonors a man who worked hard to keep the sons and daughters of our friends and neighbors alive in a war zone. He deserves our disappointment, but not our disrespect..
