Ken Catalino is a conservative cartoonist who is happiest puncturing balloons filled with the lightweight gas of liberal idealism. This doesn’t prevent him from criticizing conservatives on occasion, if reason and rationality are violated

This cartoon implies that there are repercussions for bad behavior by bankers.

Obviously, I’m a very successful financial expert; I haven’t been caught yet. Those clowns are amateurs.

They steal other peoples money and fund politicians with it so, when they get caught stealing the politicians basically look the other way. What a vicious cycle.

No, it’s that over-regulation that’s strangling our businesses.

Anyway, corporations are people, my friend. Why, I remember when Enron almost went to jail.

Bankers always have a plan “B”. “B” like in “Bermudas”…

You don’t have to do business with them. So how is it they steal from people? Gov. steals from people.

BRAINDEAD, living up to his name, said: “Anyway, corporations are people, my friend. Why, I remember when Enron almost went to jail.”
Umm, Kenneth Lay of Enron was found guilty on 10 counts of corporate fraud, faced 20-30 years, but dropped dead of a heart attack before sentencing.
In fact, 16 ex-Enron employees plead guilty in the Enron scandal, although I can’t find the disposition of their cases. I know some got probation.
But how can this be? I keep hearing “I’ll believe corporations are people when they go to jail.”

@narrowminded
It’s all connected whether I do business with them or not.
