    Yes, because “African-American culture” is such a monolithic thing that the “Black folks” you’ve hung out with must be representative of every demographic in your country.

    Robb is African American himself, so I guess he can be as authentic as anyone else. Maybe Dad is a “gee-whiz” kind of person.
    BTW, this strip is really sweet today.

    Regardless, I think it’s groovy that the cool dudes grokked the sit well enough to return DaddyO’s wheels.

    What I like best is that the father inspired love in his sons and they respond by trying to make him happy, even if it involves him driving around in a clunker apt to give up the ghost at any moment.
