    However – if you truly love your work that much then there should be no regrets. You might tire from time to time but then going back to doing what you love recharges you!

    To everyone who slams the Benders on “Alley Oop,” Jim Scancarelli on "Gasoline Alley,’ et al., just take a look at the final panel of today’s “Jump Start” and maybe you’ll get an idea of what cartoonists have to deal with on a daily basis. Unless, of course, you idiots are trolls who just like to bitch constantly.

    I wonder why Joe isn’t able to remember the name of his father’s favorite cartoon artist? After all, Dad tells him who Van Streck is every 18 months or so, and has for years now.
