Oh wow. I think I must have missed something major. Last I remember Jasmine, she was a genius baby! But I guess it makes sense she grew up. CJ’s looking fresh!

It shouldn’t have to be so hard to figure out what you are. And others will pigeonhole you anyway.

Frank Sinatra?? Geez, I always aspire towards the best: Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson. Maybe that’s why my wife always decides to do her gardening when I’m in the shower.

    That doesn’t really work!
You can’t just get up one day and say-“Today, I’m a Doctor!” or- “Today, I’m an astronaut!” You’re just you!

But that’s where it starts. You have to set your goals and convince yourself that you’ll reach them. Saying “Today, I am a doctor”, is the firs step to becoming one.

I’m an American (United States variety) by birth (Illinoisan, specifically), Dutch and German by ancestry (although I identify more strongly with the German half), and I’m presently a Californian (by choice). At various times I’m also an actor, a singer, and/or an artist, and I’m often an office worker (gotta pay the bills somehow).

My answer to the question “What are you?” depends entirely upon the context.

Last I looked I’m Terran born in Houston, in the state of Texas in the nation of the USA. Other than that I am myriad, made up of multitudes.

How many doctors talk as if they’ve just crawled out of a ganghouse? Ghetto talk is for losers.

Love the comic but he’s not necessarily talking, acting and dressing like he’s black. Non-blacks do that too and only a small number of blacks behave that way.

That’s a good point, Shyygirl27. That’s Robb Armstrong showing his age. But in his defense, his parents probably think the same thing anyway, so it works. Actually, his dad seems like he probably gets it.
