Thx, Gladius. I was wondering the same thing myself: “What have I missed in the news?”

No, lorax, you know what would be even nicer?
If these comics were actually comics.

hey toasteroven, you do know this is an editorial comic right?
toasteroven said, 2 months ago
Oh, it’s editorial all right. But, I tend to assume that “comics” involve things like “drawing” and “art”.
Not, you know, something that I could slap out in five seconds using photoshop.
parkersinthehouse said, 2 months ago
so you’re thinking photoshop is not art?
what do you think of disney after walt died. what had been art turned into assembly line “product” but it’s still called “art”
there aren’t the same boundaries there used to be
creative processes aren’t limited to materials - somebody realized that art is about ideas

LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!
toasteroven said, 2 months ago
Photoshop can be art, and art is as much about ideas as it is the process used to make it, yes. But there are no ideas here, simply a lame play on pfizer’s name. If you want to call it a cartoon, go ahead. But it’s a pathetic excuse for one.
parkersinthehouse said, 2 months ago
the toon is a visual comment on pfizer - with an economy of line and detail, using the clean logo-like flag - spare and crisp - and right on
so are you like an employee of pfizer
toasteroven said, 2 months ago
IT’S A PICTURE OF PFIZER’S LOGO, ONLY INSTEAD OF PFIZER IT SAYS PFRAUD. BECAUSE THE COMPANY COMMITED FRAUD. WHAT CLEVER CARTOONING.
Also it’s pretty easy to have economy of line and detail when all you’ve done is drawn a circle. I was being generous when I said photoshop before. I could do this in MS paint.
Also I am a part time dishwasher. Make of that what you will.

A well earned name.

toaster, but the point is, would you have thougtht of it? I could have done the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) way back when…if I had thought of it. I’d have been a multimillionaire. But I didn’t think of it, but Kary Mullis did.

I used to play in a band called The Toasterovens. We used to play warmup for Martha and the Muffins.

I used to play records, but then they went to 8 track.

p.s. the editorials are called cartoons not comics - look up “cartoon”
