I’m not a lefty, but let’s be honest Fox is biased. People want their beliefs reinforced though, so this knife cuts both ways. Folks like Fox because there was not much media that reinforced the Right viewpoint. Just look at these editorial cartoons. With only a couple of exception there are mostly left-leaning. Now, that doesn’t mean Fox isn’t biased? No, but it explains why the Right is so attracted to Fox. The left can go anywhere and get their biased news…

You must understand where Sherffius is coming from. He sees/hears/reads the exact same opinion from NYT, WaPo, LAtimes, CBS, NBC, ABC, Time, Newsweek, & MSNBC and since all the writers are his friends and hang out at the same clubs as he does they must be right.

The only time he every hears a discouraging word is from Fox. Not only do they have the audacity to disagree but the latest audits show Fox has more viewers than all the other news channels combined. If the great unwashed, who only came to their senses long enough to vote for Obama, are watching Fox , that is by definition proof they are wrong.

The only purpose for FOX news is to line Rupert’s pockets, in any manner possible, truth has nothing to do with it.

Lefties watch and listen to FOX more than righties–and then cannot accept truth.

Whether you agree or disagree with the content, Sherffius drew a first class cartoon. It’s thought provoking and lacks clutter.

Howie, I try to watch the “foxies” on occasion, just to see their viewpoint. I have to turn it off when the lying gets too intense, like on average, after 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Shepherd Smith makes an effort at times, but the network’s basic “sun revolves around the Earth” accuracy of reporting is just gross.

Thanks trout. But some one tell how CNN is any different in its approach.

I used to watch Fox news a few years back, when I still had satellite and it was bundled along free. What I watched was so off the wall, so unbelievably…wrong (Vanity & sidekick, O’Really, Fox & fiends), I soon had to stop because it was making my blood boil so much it certainly would have affected my health. It was astonishing that such a station could exist.
Later I would occasionally watch it with a Texan contractor at work during breaks as sheer entertainment.

This visual is interesting because it is based on a visual from “Mad Men”, the hit series that is about advertising executives in the 1960’s. The lounging elephant holding a cigarette, just like the ad exec who is living a lie, makes this a very interesting picture.

Yeah, NPR is somewhere left of Lenin Why Shrub43 did not pull the plug? I don’t know..Have anything with congress holding the purse strings?

What a load of cr@p, oldlegodad. Fact is, you’re a knee-jerk bias-hound who wouldn’t know good journalism if it hit him upside the head.

By several measures, NPR has proven itself again and again.

The definition of good journalism if it agrees with the liberal agenda.

Interesting new TV audit fact released today. Of all the hundreds of cable TV channels available the single most watched one by Americans is USA. #2 is Fox. Fox is ahead of all the other competitive channels- CNN, MSNBC, CNBC etc combined.

Howie- Wolf Blitzer has even alluded that there may not BE that much difference. Hmmm if you look on the globe, left of Lenin, you find it was Adolf. So left is right, right is left?? I just find facts more beneficial.

GNWachs, you are quickly losing the respect I once gave you for being open minded. Do you ever even listen to NPR? I’d love for you people who claim NPR is a liberal news source to point to actual bias in a report. But you can’t, can you? Meanwhile, it’s laughably easy to find cases of conservative bias in Fox News. They don’t even attempt to hide it.

The troubling thing is that there really used to be a time when news was news. It wasn’t conservative news or liberal news. It was news. But now Fox and MSNBC have us all convinced that all news programs have a slant, and we just need to pick the one we like.

NPR is for the rest of us who simply wish to stay informed. And studies have shown that we are among the best informed people in the US.
