Yes John–Democrats demand and when Republicans don’t supply as wanted it is called partisanship.

Err… it’s about drug trade. Mexico supplies what America demands. We’re part of the problem.

BTW, crankydog has it right, Howie.

BTW Did anyone notice that the leading questions in EVERY category of The Great Impostor/ aka OBAMAMAMA’s “Virtual Town Hall” was calling for TGI to legalize marijuana?? Interesting, isn’t it - but then NOW you know how MoveOn.org’s George Soros was able to BUY the election - He used all those weedheads to send in just under $200 of HIS money as THEIRS to fund T.G.I.’s campaign! It is called Bundling, and although unethical and illegal, The OBAMAMAMA’s campaign had the two TOP bundling experts running their financial program - although I guess The Great One himself must not have realized it, since they are REGISTERED LOBBYISTS and he kept PROMISING that he WOULD NOT EMPLOY lobbyists, except those he nominated to serve in his Cabinet - OH, that’s right, THOSE problems arose AFTER he won the election, when the PRO-LEFT media actually went back to WORK!!

British Columbia supplies a great deal of the weed for the State of Washington. It is legal there, albeit with strict regulation. Its only when the local mob wants to export it to the States that they have shootouts. We could tax it like cigarettes and alcohol and have fewer problems.
Throwing the addicts in jail ala Midnight Express hasn’t worked; we’ve been trying that since long before that 1970’s movie was released. Remember that insanity can be trying the same thing again and again expecting different outcomes.

I’m just a little curious as to why the drug center seems to keep shifiting. Afghanistan has held the spot light a time or two, Columbia has received a good deal of critisim, then once there was the Golden triangle of SE Asia, and now Mexico. Don’t like what I’m seeing.

“MoveOn.org’s George Soros was able to buy the election”? No offense, Will, but that makes no sense at all. MoveOn.org was started by three friends in a basement. (I was an early member.) Certainly I didn’t get _my_ check. Instead, I followed the absolute appalling way Bush and his crew destroyed our reputation in the world, lied to the American people to get us into a war for oil, failed to pursue Osama bin Laden, and generally demonstrated his complete contempt for the Constitution and the American people. As you keep saying, though I don’t wish to shout, “look it up.”

So now the Libs want the “War on Drugs”? What are you smoking Libs?
cdward said, 8 months ago
Happypants, apparently nothing as strong as what you’re smoking. Where do you get the idea liberals want the war on drugs? What we want is a reasonable way to diminish demand (which is OUR part of the problem) so that supply has nowhere to go. That would require money for good drug treatment programs, but it would be an investment that would pay off big in the long run.

I knew the cartoon was referring to the drug trade–just showing it could be interpreted from another subject.
