Deering continues to lean a little more right from his “middle stance” proclaimed in the gocomics “slant” I.D.

While I’m not happy with all of Obama’s actions, or inactions, on a number of issues, he’s still more capable of interpretation, analysis, and decisions on the issues based on facts, than “W”. “W” just moved wherever his “staff” and advisors (like Cheney) pushed him. Even “Daddy Bush” was more independent, actually. Post-presidency btw, GHW, Carter, and Clinton, have all shown far greater responsibility, and dedication to the public interest, than Reagan or “W”.

Responsibility? Prior to Carter, former Presidents knew to keep their yap shut and not criticize their successors. Carter changed all that (even on foreign shores).

Clinton can’t stand to be out of the limelight. But then again, he’s got a wife that’s a political whore, as well as a Foundation that he’s skimming money from.

As far as W goes, wasn’t he part of the triumvirate of Clinton and his father raising money for Haiti?

I suppose you’re equally critical of Harry S. Truman, who returned to Independence, Missouri, and pretty much kept out of the public’s eye?

Seeing that grim faced guy in the picture I just got who the GOP reminds me of these days: STATLER AND WALDORF from the Muppets Show! Okay, that would make President Obama Fozzie Bear, but given the healthcare.gov roll-out he deserves a bit of criticism even by his supporters…
