It was that famous left-wing democrat and Obama adviser Rahm Emanuel that remarked " Never let a good crisis go to waste, even if you have to manufacture one."

Pointing out the approaching train when sitting on the track isn’t wishing ruin on ones own nation. And it isn’t treason. I guess you think anyone disagreeing with you or Obama is treasonous. What’s next rounding us up and sending us to “re-education camps” or the gas chamber?

Treason has a very precise legal definition. You should look up and study that definition.

This is how desperate they are for a leader in GOP.

It was William Randolph Hearst who told his Havana correspondent, “Just send me the pictures, I’ll provide the war.” And he did. I had not heard Mr. Emanuel had said, “…even if you have to manufacture one.” If he did, then he proves my theory that the most successful politicians are those for whom any means justify a desired end. It is dishonorable, unethical, immoral, but sadly, not illegal.

Sme problem here as in the real world.
You read his post, but your comment has nothing to do with his post.
You answered a post in your head, Adrian said
“wish ruination on ones own nation”
    and you answered a post
    “disagree with the commander”
What voice overrode what was posted?

Treason has a very precise legal definition.
And so does sedition – which many Republican members of Congress and right-wing pundits and TeaBirchers have skirted perilously close. It’s ok to call the President of the United States a muslim fascist Nazi commie socialist Marxist foreigner paying Al Qaeda to bomb the United States while he’s working with the U.N. to take away your guns, build concentration camps, and destroy the country with Health Care reform?
Sedition is the stirring up of rebellion against the government in power. Treason is the violation of allegiance to one’s sovereign or state, giving aid to enemies, or levying war against one’s state.
We’ve seen Republican members of Congress abrogating their oath of office in their zeal to destroy the government. We’ve seen Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin and their inflammatory muckraking, standing alongside TeaBaggers and paid demagogues calling for revolution and insurrection – but then, It’s Ok If You’re a Republican, huh?

I admire your patience, many, myself included, will give up repeating truth after ten or so tries.
Plain truth gets ignored and the same, well, lies is the word, get posted by the same folks.
I guess their target is newbies that do not know facts yet.
Basing policy on keeping folks misinformed breaks down after time, look at the country.
Truth did not put us here.

You mentioned Klein’s book a couple of months ago so I went out and bought it. After about 100 pages I got so upset I had to put it down. I’ll get back to it when I recover my spirits. It’s an important book, but the people who need to read it won’t, or won’t believe what they read.

It is the manner and tone of your disagreement that is the problem (and what is really dividing the country) not your actual disagreements themselves that is the problem on this comment board!!
