   None of you actually watched the whole interview, did you. Woodward never said he felt threatened by Sperling, no matter how hard the interviewers tried, he only said he knew that his friend had made a communications gaffe, not a threat. The rest is media trying to make a story where there is none. Good examples of a rightwing noise machne machination:

   What did I spin, or are you saying you admit that Fox News is a republican spin machine and I should therefore have included Pluoffe’s comments(whatever they are)?

   All I did was provide my assesment of the interview and related the top two headlines in my google search:
   Fox News – "detailed the threat " ; which is an incendiary statement characterizing what Woodward said as something Woodward said it wasn’t. I.e. they applied “spin”
   vs.
   outsidethebeltway.com – “Bob Woodward: I Never Said It Was A Threat, But I Didn’t Disagree With Those Who Did” This was a factual statement, quoting Woodward in a follow up interview where he also said “I said I think that language is unfortunate and I don’t think it’s the way to operate. . ” I.e. they “reported”

   You are aware Obama voted to bailout Wall Street and he gave Wall Street more ‘Tarp’ funds when he bailed out the Auto Industry.

   Woodward and Bernstein were key in starting the Watergate Hearings,and the downfall of Crookedest Crook of all Crooks Richard Nixon. Odd how Liberals said Woodward was right about Nixon, not that he has dirt on Obama, he is wrong.

    Who here said he was threatened? Obama’s pissed because Woodward called him on his lies. This much we know based on the email Sperling sent to Woodward.

    Well, you are kind of right, I have to admit. No one on this thread said he was threatened, that was several of the other threads. As for demeaning fox et. al., they do a good job of it themselves.
