I remember when Corzine ran the first time, I recieved a call from someone saying they were conducting a poll. I knew it was a “push poll” when the caller was literally arguing with me! She asked why I wasn’t going to vote for him. I said, “because he will raise my taxes”. She argued that his policy was not to raise taxes. I said, “look, he’s a Democrat, he’s going to raise my taxes!” She said “NO! HE WON’T RAISE YOUR TAXES!”
He wasn’t in office a week before he said NJ was in worse shape than he thought, and raised my taxes. And he never stopped. The result? Businesses and residents fled (including me), and NJ was in worse economic shape than before. That’s why he lost!

Corzine lost–how was that Bush’s fault? Oh wait it is Obama and Biden that made special visits last week.
