    Well, someone has to take the fall.
    With Bernie, it’s those who missplaced their confidence to preserve their wealth. With BO, it’s those who missplaced their confidence to preserve the economy. Note it’s all a confidence (con) job. In several years it will be taxpayers taking the fall.

    Absolutely correct. However, we are about to build more prisons, because our present prisons are desperately ‘over crowded”.
    If they would replace every 2 to 3 “ouncer” in prison with the people who are making billions off the dope business, especially the Bankers, we would have prisons populated with pigeons, not the persons mentioned by fennec . Who profits ?.And why do you think the only War that has spent more money than Iraq, with less accomplishment? It is the drug war. Talk about a smoke screen.

    Hearst got pot outlawed in 1937, the year after I was born.
    In 1936 a thresher was invented that made commercial harvesting easier (sorta lahk the antebellum South was gonna use them slaves to run factories a lot cheaper).

    The Sixties were a reaction to the Military-Industrial complex using war and living people for a product testing ground and presumed overseas political advantage (new markets).
    Those men and women who fought so honorably and proudly in WWII were afterwards able to take their education to a higher level through the GI Bill, then imbue their children with that drive for knowledge so well that when it came to the second questionable fiasco of the M-I Complex the battle cry was “Hell no, We won’t go!” And BURNED their Draft Cards!!!
    Then the lawyers and politicians in Washington had to start counteracting all the ‘damage’ caused by all that free education.
    Welcome to the USA, Land of the…

    rustyblade, the question has been raised, ¿WHO was running the scam(that never traded a single stock) whilst Bernie was jetting all over the world to his many homes??( in a semi-retired mode) The sons said they were clueless until Daddy confessed to them. Methinks foul play is afoot on Wall Street.
