Does the world enjoy cars? Airplanes, computers, technology? The world would still be in the 1800’s without the US’s inventions.
You can thank China for gunpowder tho…

Resisting the point of the cartoon again? Martin Luther King, Jr. was an advocate for peace and nonviolence. No matter how you rationalize it, the US is one of the biggest supporters of violence around the world.
It’s not about “well, others will do it if we don’t.” Or “we’re not as bad as other people.” We do it.

First of all chances are is that the British would have invented the computer given time
Airplanes were also a global race
Cars followed the invention of the steam engine
Technology, you do realize that the wheel is technology, that a lever is technology, that a screw is technology, are you claiming that all of these exist only in the USA ?
in summery you have conducted false equivalency combined with fallacious claims that wraps up on broad terms to try and get the message out better

P.S I myself am not a fan of the race card being played by the cartoon.

None the less it does seem that the USA is happy to drive on the global arms trade. One could argue that China and Russia would default the gap, yet in terms of small arms (personal arms) The USA has a strong lead. Which in turn would seem to correlate that countries with an abundance of personal firearms have greater rates of both Homicide and “Defense” deaths. The sooner often being noticeably greater within family killing family and the later often occurring in basis where force was not needed (If it is wrong to kill for money why is it right to kill somebody to protect the stuff you buy with it)

Except it doesn’t. In Russia, gun ownership is practically unheard of, but their homicide rate is over 10 per 100,000. In the US, guns are prolific, but our homicide rate is 4 per 100,000.

The car, airplane, and computer weren’t invented by Americans. While the Chinese developed the explosive black powder that we call gun powder, they used it for mostly peaceful and celebratory purposes. It was Europeans and later Americans who perfected the art of killing humans with it.

US leads the planet in gun violence.
    -
Gun violence advocates are happy with that.

    @Doctor Warbucks

To insinuate that gun owners are “Gun violence advocates [who] are happy with that” does a great job of reinforcing the validity of your handle.
    -
    1. Nowhere did I mention gun owners. I would agree that most of the gun violence advocates, e.g. Wayne LaPierre and his followers are probably gun owners, but I would NOT agree that most gun owners are gun violence advocates.
    -
Surveys I’ve read indicate that most NRA members favor background checks and limits on high capacity magazines.
    -
    2. Couldn’t you be a little more clever or original in your insults?
