But scream and cry and complain when unions try to improve the lives of ordinary working people. Why should garbage collectors get a decent wage? Or teachers?

Accreditation is a real problem, because accrediting bodies (some of them) require at least 50% faculty, when adjuncts are much cheaper, and, since they don’t have tenure, much more pliable and cannot teach what parents, contributors, and administrators don’t want them to teach for more than one semester (sometimes even less if a replacement can be found mid-semester).

So an all-adjunct faculty is a win-win-win situation, and three out of five ain’t bad.

The one on the right should be the Unions. Average teacher salaries are $44 grand a year while the Union bosses are 1/2 million. Yes and I learned it on Fox. MSNBC would not post this:

Most government workers are very dedicated to serving the public. The proof of the pudding is that most government workers, given an equivalent job/position on the outside or “commercial” world, would earn 2 to 5 times what they earn working for the government. Been there, seen it, done it.

Sadly, like in any business, the few bad ones reap all the attention. Exp: The FEMA Director during Katrina, ENRON, or those responsible at the many Banks involved with the Housing Crisis.
