    I laughed, I cried, I nearly died.
The pain. The pleasure. In equal measure.

Wave upon wave. My body was wracked.
My mind disengaged and time went untracked.

Revulsion. Confusion. I could reach no conclusion.
Was it hinted, or dinted? Had my mind simply linted?

Over and over. From every angle.
Purpose and meaning I tried to untangle.

What choice to choose? Did the author give clues?
Is he a muse? Or just out to confuse.

And so I choose to respectfully decline,
to choose one of his. I’ll stick with mine :)

In a Detroit church one Sunday morning, a preacher said, “Anyone with ’special needs” who wants to be prayed over, please come forward to the front by the altar."

With that, Leroy got in line, and when it was his turn, the Preacher asked, “Leroy, what do you want me to pray about for you?”

Leroy replied, “Preacher, I need you to pray for help with my hearing.”

The preacher put one finger of one hand in Leroy’s ear, placed his other hand on top of Leroy’s head, and then prayed and prayed and prayed. He prayed a “blue streak” for Leroy, and the whole congregation joined in with great enthusiasm.

After a few minutes, the preacher removed his hands, stood back and asked, “Leroy, how is your hearing now?”

Leroy answered, " I don’t know. It ain’t ’til Thursday."

    Obama got tax hikes.
Boehner told Obama he could make cuts anywhere he wanted. Obama refused.
Obama is either totally inept or he chooses to make America suffer.

You act like those statements are facts or based in reality or even represent something that might approximate reality. They’re not, please don’t try to sell ill formed and prejudiced opinions as facts.

Tell me what makes those statements factual and relevent. Obama got tax cuts, Boner got 3 times as many service reductions. “anywhere he wanted/refused”? Quote the whole story, not cherry picked soundbites. Inept and punish America? That’s the same as asking you if you still beat your wife. Not even a basis for further inquiry.

Boehner is simply the worst liar in Congress. Oh, wait, there’s Cantor, Ryan, McConnell, and the rest of the “toxic waste right”.

Rockngolfer: there are SO many on the right from the TEA party wing that may be going someday to be “prayed” over for whom they’ve preyed upon.

Anyone who thinks Obama “got his tax increases” is either lying or being lied to. The tax increases included in the fiscal cliff deal will bring about $500-$600 billion in additional revenue over ten years. Obama had been calling for about $1.4 billion in additional revenue, but made the deal with the understanding that he & Congress would tackle the rest in the next session. The Republicans have decided they will not negotiate one cent more in revenue, despite the fact that even Bowles-Simpson was calling for an additional $1.2 billion.

In the meantime, the GOP is trying to replace the Sequester cuts to the Defense budget while leaving the other cuts in place. I can not understand how anyone thinks the Republicans are serious about the deficit.

& asonia it isn’t that Obama wants to create pain for people. The issue is he really believes he knows what he is doing. He has never lost an election but knows little about government. That is why he has been duped the Campaigner & Chief.

I don’t believe Obama is evil, he simply lacks any understanding of this country outside of a campaign. Remember James Carville the professional campaign manager. If Obama followed his example he would have gone 30 years or more working on elections and bring both Democrats & Republicans to the left.
