Voting in the USA is like driving a car.
You choose “D” to go forward, and “R” to go backward.

Yes, 2816, exactly. This country has been in reverse since 20 January 1981 when ronnie raygun took the oath of office, all the while thinking he was making a movie about the presidency.

    Most accidents happen in “D”.

The difference between driving and voting is that voting is a right – driving is a privilege. But the Republicans think only they have rights and the rest of us exist at their privilege.

If you think the Republican Party represents your interests, you’re either wrong, or too rich to matter.

The dems have been advocating for the poor and so called minorities for 50 + years during a majority of which time the dems have controlled the house , Senate and WH . One would think there would be a fewer # of poor by now . Dems do NOTHING but perpetuate the problem !

Mostly, they have to continuously fend off Republican attempts to pillage the poor and elderly.

Lies, lies, lies, lies of the GOP, you mean. Of course there are poor and elderly who will never vote for Obama, just as there are rich and young who will never vote for any of the morons the GOP is putting up. So what? The point is, which party advances the best interests of the majority of the country – and that is clearly NOT the GOP.

And equally clearly, NOT the Democrats. The US only has one party, the Rekleptocrats, the Party that Keeps on Taking.

If you are not wealthy and you are voting Richpublican you are a product of the eviscerated school system: extremely ignorant and uneducated.

I live in F;lorida. A picture ID to vote has been the law here of over a decade. Homless people have picture IDs. That’s YOUR problem?

Very compelling arguments there, Towerwarlock. It’s obvious you put a lot of thought into them.
