Being one who believes in “an invisible friend”, I often wonder what Jesus thinks of all of this. He was not Catholic, and he wasn’t a “Christian”. Whatever else he was, he was a person who told people to love each other, to treat each other the way they wanted to be treated, and to those who wanted to enforce “cruel” laws, he said, “Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.” He asked, “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” I guess I’ll either get to find out or, I won’t care. “Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.” Respectfully, C.
“People, it’s just a pope. Get on with your lives.” Kinda my thought too. But with the way your party misappropriates religion, as in quotes, implicates or imposes it when it suits your purposes nearly half of society can’t get on with their lives. At least not until their party figures out how to manipulate this event for its benefit and then tells its people what to think. . Sadly Catholic or not, the Pope and his detached-from-reality decisions do have a pretty big influence on most christian religions. They have to stay mainstream, as in follow the same path as the Catholics, just not with all the ritualistic hokum don’t ya know?
Most religions pay little to no attention to the pope. The other Christian denominations broke away hundreds of years ago. The other non-Christian religions have no reason to pay any attention. However, the socialists give the pope credit for way more power than the pope actually has. Yet at the same time they claim they don’t believe anything the pope says or stands for. Strange how that socialist thinking operates. Wanting it both ways without a clue.

The vatican should be stripped of its nation status.
It should not have a seat at the UN.
It is the only religion/superstition/cult that has it.
