Unfortunately (for our country) you are spot on Joe. Far too many people only know the sound bites that they get from their television. Of course this administration wants it that way because they live on one mantra and that’s “a little knowledge is a very scary thing” (politicians are terrified of an informed electorate).
“What’s a politician?” “A parasite that sucks your life’s blood while spewing hot air. You can get rid of them, but then they collect a pension for the rest of their lives.”
Since you guys know what the sequester is, mind informing the rest of us on the big secret or is it that you guys are just as clueless as the people in the toon?
The cartoon shows the rampant ignorance of our people. Eisenhower warned us we would need to be intelligent, but we do not have the time to learn how to fight those who would divide us. It is a sad state of affairs. Respectfully, C.
