    The Democrats have a much better record on smaller government than the Republicans do, if you look at their actual actions as opposed to rhetoric. The problem with Republicans is a complete inability to govern a country. Our economy would be doing a lot better if they’d just get out of the way and let the adults govern. 700,000 jobs lost this time, just because the GOP doesn’t understand economics. Or with many of them, they do understand, but don’t care because party is more important than country.

    Democrats don’t want bigger government, they simply want a government that cares for, cars about the people it is supposedly of, by and for. I guess the republicans do too, the rich, the powerful and corporations.

    Republicans’ worst nightmare ……… that moment when they realize that all the myths they’d been treating as real were in fact myths.

    W has the largest expansion of the federal government since the New Deal under the pretense of security. Reagan spend a ton of money, as well.

    Leaderless? If you want to talk about leaderless look at the HoR. For good or ill Bohner tries, bless his heart. Too bad he has such a bunch of petulant children within his own party to deal with.

    So tell us, Gov; are you FOR or AGAINST sequestration? Or do you even know?

    @Radish

    The Republicans have dealt with reality, they increased taxes on the rich. The took Obama at his word that in exchange for increasing taxes on the rich, he would make tough budget cuts. Obama wanted sequester as part of the deal or he would veto it. He got what eh wanted and now he is reneging on his deal to cut spending.

    They do understand, it is Harry Reid that refuses to allow the Senate to read and vote on bills passed by the House. Harry Reid is the problem.

    Obama outspent all 43 of his predecessors combined spending their entire terms in just 3 years of his first term.
