    Eat less, Exercise more.
    What’s so hard about that?
But NO!!! You want BIG PHARM to reap the benefits.

Even if they’re too lazy to exercise, some people would greatly benefit from cutting out high fructose corn syrup and most fast food from their diet. The occasional value meal with HFCS laden drink isn’t too bad for you, but a daily habit is likely to become a deadly habit.

Corn is terrific for fattening livestock – and humankind. Avoiding corn fructose is the key despite what the industry tells you that your body can’t tell the difference between it and sugar.

Some people want that. Me, I’ll go the exercise route, thank you! I know that’s all I need to get my hyper metabolism going again.
    .
The problem is how to do that without cash….

Years ago, a friend who was morbidly obese, and having knee problems, confessed, “My knee problem is with my mouth. I can’t keep it shut unless chewing on food.” .

Just today I heard a radio commercial stating 1 in 6 Americans can’t get enough food. Seems there is a problem somewhere.
Maybe we should be like the people in Africa. Nice and skinny?

Sugar is sugar. Rice is high in carbs and the body turns it into glucose (which combined with insulin gives all the cells in your body energy). Seems like the people brainwashed by the corn sugar lies believe anything.

“Avoiding corn fructose is the key despite what the industry tells you that your body can’t tell the difference between it and sugar.”

Not quite. Corn fattens up cattle due to it’s high starch content. Fructose by itself is not harmful. High fructose corn syrup is. It’s a syrup containing both fructose and glucose that has been treated to convert some of the glucose into more fructose. Researchers think it is that imbalance that causes harmful side effects to the body.

The industry commercials are actually correct in saying the body doesn’t differentiate between sugar derived from corn or other plant matter. HFCS is not the same as sugar and cannot legally be labeled as sugar in the US.

It’s not corn sugar you need to avoid, it’s the high fructose corn syrup the corn sugar is usually transformed into.

    sugar: C6H12O6
    high fructose corn sugar: C6H12O6
    chemically the same.

The body does NOT PROCESS THEM THE SAME! Sucrose, Fructose, different “biology” at work, despite the “chemistry”. High Fructose Corn syrup is NOT processed the same as either. Artificial sweeteners are “bad news”. As a “type II” I can tell you that from personal experience.

That’s just you, dude. I’m okay with Splenda (sucralose), but anything with Aspartame, no can have. It messes up my short-term memory, and with ADHD, that’s something I don’t want and don’t need!
    .
Problem is, Aspartame is so cheap that most companies who produce “diet” drinks use that. I’m borderline, but have both types in my family tree, so I know when I should limit my sugars.
    .
My point is not everyone has the same chemical makeup as each of us is unique. There are medicines that will work in everyone (like aspirin), and there are others that won’t work with some people (like Sulfa, which I’m allergic to). While I agree with you on Corn Sugar, I have a feeling that we’ll be switching to beet sugar (that made from beets) come Fall. Or haven’t you seen what the hot temps are doing to the Nation’s corn crops lately?
