I think pedophilia is a terrible thing but I will note one thing: many (perhaps even most) pedophiles were themselves abused as children. We need to break this cycle.
Yes, introducing pedophiles to prison is a good idea, for long terms, but early intervention with shrinks might be more effective. Now about the HUGE outcry from the “religious right” about pedophiles, what about Haggard and crew, not just priests.
But MORE to the point, how come those so bent about “abusing children”, have no problem dropping napalm, or rockets on them, if it will get us more oil?
Since Obama took office, there has not been a single civilian casualty. Under the new and much improved definition, every single person killed on Obama’s orders was necessarily a terrorist who would (had he or she not been killed) have soon attacked the US and killed many Americans. But Obama has killed many, many of these criminal terrorists and kept Americans safe. He has killed men, women, and, worst of all, the baby terrorists, and Americans can rest easier with all those baby terrorists dead before they could attack the US.

Onguard: wrong again! (and per usual) NIXON increased tremendously the bombing of “civilians” in that little dustup. He also ran the war LONGER than LBJ! Just so you know, I was there when LBJ was running the show, saw what was really happening, and hated LBJ and McNamara for it! Which was why, NIXONWASWORSE! (also, being “too near” napalm is THE most “scary” thing that can happen, well next to white phosphorous.)

Execution is too good for pedophiles, or most career criminals for that matter.
Life in prison combined with hard labor would be good.

True pedophiles can’t be fixed by shrinks. Maybe a dabbler can. Anyone who does this to a child is really despised in prison, so I hear.
