CORPORATE RED HERRINGS… Conservative Fascism’s favorite distraction issues comprise: Abortion rights, Religious rights, Bullying, Sexual Freedom, Drugs, etc., etc. because the plain truth is too horrifying to allow the general public to consider! The fact is: “We need never fear a Military take-over of the U.S. Government because a Corporate take-over is already in effect.” Corporate America has run its hand up the backside of the conservative party and is moving their lips to spew forth whatever objectives Big Business desires. That control isn’t about one ideology over another or even political in nature… it’s an outright battle for absolute power over the resources of the United States including its multi-colored coat of troglodytic slaves held in check through the Denial of Education! Big Business is on a Crusade to crush Unions and the Intelligentsia once and for all, as they are the last dwindling minority who can call them out and yet; Democrats do nothing to advertise the real facts of this Blatant Corporate Coup!
We must advertise how Corporate America is railroading programs to convert the people of the USA into powerless and voiceless disenfranchised slaves who must buy their own food, their own housing, their own transportation, their own health care, etc., etc., and on and on… all while paying unfair taxes on what pittance of remuneration they are allowed without the benefit of protected vocal or written recourse to legal grievance!
Unfortunately, Eisenhower was right… and we can’t do anything about it!!!

I haven’t been following Wisconsin. Does the liberal bankruptcy spouting candidate have a chance over the state-saving elected official? Bus in union members from other states to make it look like the mob rules again.

I left Wisconsin in 1965 to fight in various wars in the third world; Vietnam, panama, Grenada, the gulf, and now when I went back to visit my brother I find that Thailand has better medical coverage and Africa has better cellphone reception. I think, thanks to the tea party idiots, we’ve become the third world.

Are your corporate and megarich masters paying you a living wage with medical and dental benefits to post your inane comments? Or are you getting paid nothing while you sit in your parents basement 18 hours a day in front of a terminal and munching on junk food while the rest of us are out and about in the real world?

As a fellow Vietnam veteran I thank you for your service. But, I hope you don’t really think that the current state of medical coverage and cellphone service is the result of a political group that only formed 3 years ago. Especially since the Democrats had control of the Presidency and both houses of Congress during the first two years of that time.

ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Enough of this petty backbiting. Wisconsin was the 30th state admitted into the union while Alaska was the 50th state admitted into the Union.

Ennui_rudy: I left in 66, a more limited travel plan, but 40 years later, my son has been the same places you mentioned, and more, now disabled retired. It IS frustrating that so many countries he’s seen, that we “sophisticates” consider “primitive” provide much better, and cheaper, care for their citizens. The reason is simple, “conservatives” masquerading as “Republicans” since 1980 especially, have basically destroyed all our systems, to provide extra PROFIT for corporations, whether by enforcing payment for drugs based on “whatever the market DEMANDS” to wars to profit CONTRACTORS, and screw over our troops.

I stil love my country, but don’t recognize much of it as still existing. If Republicans, as exemplified by the “House Natural Resources Committee”, and other RepublliCONs now in the House majority continue, and filibuster “crud” through the Senate or in “must pass” bills, there may be nothing left of the “home of the free, and the land of the brave”. Because chickenhawks will have destroyed it.

I am praying big time that the recall will see Scott Walker out of a job! And that Tom Barnet wins.
This may be the most important election in decades!
Democrats have got to stop the 1% agenda and their lackeys like Walker.
He is backed by the Koch bothers And he and many other governors have been unamimous on killing off the unions, making it harder to vote, and the suppression of women!
If this one states outcome is so crucial to stop the Machine from rolling over all of the citizens who believe in domocracy and justice and the constitution.
