Let me get the door for you illegal aliens!
4 Billion dollars would build one heck of an electrified fence.
Just plug it in and then let people LEGALY apply for citizenship like my family did. They waited for years, yet 0 and the Dems would rather reward the lawbreakers with taxpayer funded welfare, housing and drivers licenses.
And tighter border security would mean less uneducated Democrats to vote for them, so the Democrats will never crack down on illegals.

The conservatives have been spending money to secure the border for years now. These young immigrants walk across the border and surrender. How does a higher, electrified fence or a mine field stop that??? It is a “solution” that does not even address the current problem. The border is 2000 miles long. If you put an armed guard every 100 feet along the border it would take 100,000 people per shift. What do you think a 2000 mile impenetrable wall with electronic sensors and video monitoring would cost? Even then I am sure some enterprising coyotes would figure out how to get around it.

A history Teacher once told the class that Nixon shows why we are one of the greatest nations on earth. We were able to change power at the top, for the best, with out firing a shot.

If we did that, 40 years from now, some Mexican president would give a speech, calling out “President Bush (the sixth): TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!”

Harley, Nixon left office due to a scandal where NO ONE was killed. If his skin had been dark he would have simply cryed “racism” and been allowed to stay.

Cut off a part of their GDP and budget, the Mexico government would cry and has cried when we try to stop the flow of the parasitic leeches they send over the border to send 2/3 of the pay check back home. And really, those are some of the best, hardest working family people they have, to keep them in Mexico and they might start questioning the corruption of their government. You can not have a sucure border with or without alligators as Obama claims. They would not stand for it!
But of course they are self deporting, the milk has soured, NO JOBS! Our economy is in the toilet thanks to Obama. So he can claim self deportation as a method against illegals and no fence required.
But what does that have to do with the daycare on the border. That is Obama’s problem for crowing about amnesty and bastardizing a law meant for the child sex trade.

no one was killed with the IRS, but Nixon could only dream of the power Obama and lackeys have weld with that sword. “Not a smidgen” of what? Really? How many times did you Mr. Obama Meet with the IRS? Now compare that with his Jobs committees.
But Nixon did not have the lame stream white house echo spin machine. Nixon did not have NSA spying on those news people making sure they followed the party line to get the messiah reelected. Must dig into Mitt’s Jr. high Bulling" and oh no a dog on the roof. Oh and by the way the IRS wants to know what you are praying at your meeting before they can approve you spending money to advertise your 1st amendment right to free speech. Nixon only wishes he had such power.

It gives more tax payer money to government contractors. It is the perfect solution to the problem (of government contractors not being paid enough tax payer money).

What kind of a Country have we become ? Referring to undocumented immigrants as leeches is deplorable. The world used to look to us for leadership but instead we get petty fighting & threats of suing the President because Republicans simply don’t like him or his policies. If we don’t stop fighting like spoiled little children & work together as Americans we will surely fall as the greatest Nation on Earth.

By the way…I wonder exactly how many people on here saying we need to “Build an Electric Fence Along the entire border” have ever actually BEEN to southern Texas or New Mexico or Arizona and seen the territory? I have been through some of the area, and it looks like the surface of Mars in places.
The cost would be ENORMOUS, since so much of it is rugged mountain terrain, and nowhere near ANY form of infrastructure that could support such a project.
The same with “Stationing troops along the entire border”. How would you support the troops? There are NO sources of water nearby, so you would have to spend exorbitant amounts of money to build support bases for thousands and thousands of troops. Stationing troops in what is basically a desert would require huge expenditures.
You would have to ship in large amounts of food and water, comparable to what was done in Iraq and Afghanistan, then build housing for the troops, and full support bases.
The country could easily spend a half Trillion dollars on this, and still not be able to secure the border completely.

If I was referring to one that comes here to live, thrive and become American then maybe you have a point. I was talking about those that come here illegally and then send 2/3 pay check back to Mexico, then go back them self. So in no way are they “undocumented immigrants” they are here illegal and have no thought of staying. Unlike those that are claiming to be 16, get a paper to appear to see if they are legal and then leave. Those are not undocumented either, documented to be here illegally till proven elsewise. I did not call them leaches. But they are carry more than their belongings but are not being processed properly.
