Yeah, the delusional disorder is alive and well in government. And in corporations. And in churches, universities, military, businesses, individuals, etc.

Ten yards in a cloud of diversion. BUT voting time is coming. We’re ten yards closer to that.

While the majority of Americans blame the House Republicans and would vote against them if they could (as they foolishly did in ‘12), the patriotic gerrymander will eat a lot of those votes. Enough that the House will remain about as it is now? We’re currently right on the edge of THAT particular cliff. The best polls show enough anti-GOP sentiment that the ’14 election for the House will be a majority Democratic vote for the House, but a 50/50 chance for a switch to a Democratic controlled House.

See, Harley, the thing about direct election of Senators, is that statewide elections cannot be gerrymandered.

The shutdown was a big victory for McConnell. He got funding for a dam project in his state.
Not that that money will increase the deficit or anything.
And NO jobs will be created, since we all know that Government Cannot Create Jobs.
Not that pork was loaded onto essential legislation. But,

^ I don’t know what you mean when you say “create or save” BS. If you’re referring to the "government cannot create jobs’ quote, it’s been said over and over by Republican legislators, especially Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan.
I guess you must believe that McConnell’s dam project is a good one, since it’s sponsored by a Republican. But feel free to correct me if you think it’s not.
Nice expression of hatred for Obama, though.

The bar has been set so low by the House that this is what success looks like now in Congress.
