well, the people of Florida must have known about his company’s conviction of 17 felonies.
They could see he looks like an alien from a spaceship.
So they can’t be too surprised that he may be promoting stand-offs of the occasional 2 people on the street “standing their ground”.

And for lack of any way at all to slander Zimmerman, Morin is reduced to peddling irrlevant religious bigotry.

I thought Rick had flipped to RHINO.
I guess he must still be alright, since the lib ink flingers are still picking on him….

So, if I live in Florida, can I sit on my porch with my gun, and, if say George Zimmerman walks onto my lawn, can I shoot him because I feel threatened by him? Is that how it works?

Is that Scott? It looks like Putin.
A report from yesterday’s news states that Mr. Zimmerman, along with another man, helped rescue a family of four from an SUV that had flipped over on a highway not far from where the shooting of Mr. Martin took place. It would be nice if his name was known for this story rather than his failure to listen to the 911 operator or to stay in his car the night of the shooting. Still, well done Mr. Zimmerman. You did a good thing.
    ^
    On a separate note….
I hope those who Florida’s voter i.d. laws are trying disenfranchise “Stand Their Ground” over the next two election cycles. Voting should always err on the side of access, not limitation. Access to ballot boxes is the way a civil and respectful nation demonstrates its validity to a watching world.
    Respectfully,
    C.

Sorry, RT. Simply helping someone out of the car after a rollover doesn’t make up for hunting a man down and shooting him. Maybe the people of FL will wake up and vote this guy out.

So years of mentoring black children, taking care of his elderly black neighbor and the many good deeds for all his neighbors over the years doesn’t get him off being called a racist by people like you?

I didn’t vote for Rick Scott or any of those other idiots except Bill Nelson, I voted for him.

So the guy who made millions ripping off the American taxpayer (and still managed to get elected) wants a day of prayer? Man, these guys are shameless.

“So, if I live in Florida, can I sit on my porch with my gun, …”

In the scenario you just described, if you did shoot, you might want to get your affairs in order before you call the police.

Well Mr. Morin, your opinion on the law and how we the people view it is a minority one.

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/july_2013/45_favor_stand_your_ground_laws_32_oppose

Now as for the Gov., well, we know every last politician on the planet is crooked (just my opinion) but he seems to have had a positive effect on things like employment in the state so……..

I am a member of a neighborhood watch. I watch and if I see I report. I am also a gun owner and have a CCP BUT gee, I don’t wander around the ‘hood looking for miscreants. But I DO have security camera that have a nice view of the immediate area. They glow red at night. There have been some car breakin’s in the area BUT not at my house. I wonder why?

You guys need to get a grip. Give up every avenue that you have to defend your self and your family. Yep. Now there’s a good idea.

Welcome to Florida! Pack some heat, then pick a fight! Don’t like how it goes? Pull your piece, “stand your ground” and make it right! Just make sure the other guy doesn’t get to tell his side of the story, and the great state of Florida will pat you on the back and send you on your way!
After all, since you can’t be expected to stop being irrationally afraid of “them”, it’s only fair that “they” be afraid of you!

For those of you (liberals/progressives) that firmly believe in letting someone rape or kill your family, I suggest you move to Chicago. Those that live in Florida prefer to defend themselves from criminals. If you believe that the Police will be there to defend you than you 1. hope that the criminal will give you the time to make a 911 call and 2. the Police are less than two houses away from you when the perp is getting ready to fire (oops, even that would be too late!).
