Not more than 973 editorial cartoons published with this theme. ‘Course it’s early.

Because interfering with US corporate profits is a mortal sin. And remember, kids, any cartoon that shows an official enemy of the state in a bad light is automatically funny.

It’s horrible when someone in power forces the oil companies to give up the profits they legitimately earned and then diverts to money into it a redistribution of wealth scheme, aimed at buying the loyatly of the masses.

    But enough about Sarah Palin

The Devil himself? Nooooo, I wouldn’t go that far.

THAT would make Ugo ‘Kingfish’ Chavez worse than Kim Jong Un, Bashar al-Assad, and, Robert Mugabe.

What Jester said is true. Look at the Alaska Department of Revenue and see for yourself. Get informed.

And your evidence that Chavez did this is…?

If you’re a Christian, then you cannot believe this cartoon. One thing Chavez disagreed with Castro about is belief in God. Chavez believed in God and that Jesus was his Lord and Savior.

Chavez’ thugs outright killed many opponents, and incarcerated many journalists and Biz people, some never to be seen again, he gave support/sanctuary to FARC terrorist that killed and kidnap across the border, He destroyed Venezuela’s economy where now ‘black-outs" are regular occurrence in a country floating in oil, food rations (like in Cuba) have been instituted for the first time ever, crime stats are one of the worst in the world, (don’t you dare stop your car at an intersection) where law abiding citizens have to hide/live behind “caged communities” with armed security guards to protect their families, the list too long to post here,

If you don’t believe it, ask the 100K plus Venezuelans exiles from all walks of life languishing in exile in South Florida, or ask the thousands of Cuban Doctor’s defectors that worked across Venezuela and were able to escape to America even with Chavez’ goons hunting them down across the country ready to ship themback to Castro’s Gulag,

Some of you Lefties should educate your selves better before you comment across the net on an issue you know nothing about…

^I don’t have to ask disgruntled exiles about Chavez. Ask the Venezuelans who are still living in Venezuela. You know, the ones who elected him four times by wide margins. (And please don’t try to tell me the elections were rigged. They were monitored and verified by UN observers, which is far more than you could ever say for Dubya.)

One of the first things that really shocked me when I moved from Europe to North America was the difference in news.

Specifically I noticed a story that in European press went: “Chavez has closed down a television station sponsored by the American government that ran a 24/7 cycle agitating for a revolution against him.”

The same story in American news read: “Mad Dictator Chavez closes down opposition television station”

My Venezuelean friends thinks he is the best thing that ever happened. He did not move the oil money from rich Venezueleans to poor Venezueleans. He moved it from rich Americans to poor Venezueleans. Spot the difference.
