   What, the rich conservatives didn’t give to Karl Rove because THEY wanted free stuff? Please. 20% cut in the income tax rate. Elimination of the estate tax. Less attention to corrupt business practices and cheating the poor. They all wanted stuff.

   Get a grip would you? You lost because the people, or at least a small majority were too smart to be fooled by the lies. And yes that’s about all rove and his ilk are capable of generating. When you party has nothing to sell you have to resort to lies.

   
   Reality is irrelevent when you you can manufacture your own “facts” and get people like onguard to belive whatever you tell them, as long you’re pulling the puppet strings of the right party.

    Should we be tolerant of bad and mistaken ideas? Should we tolerate creationism? The idea that women can’t get pregnant if they are “legitimately” raped? The idea that the rich deserve a free ride? The idea that there was some basis for the War in Iraq? You’ve got a right to all these ideas, and I’ve got a right to say you’re wrong.
