The DOL does not count them either so who is the bigger crook?

Yeah, all Scott did was to defraud Medicare. Nothing serious.

No, no. They weren’t able to prove he knew anything about the way his company was committing Medicare fraud.
So he’s just too clueless to know what was going on in his company.
And he hasn’t gotten any smarter since then.

That’s the way that the Unemployment Rate has always been figured.
    .
The assumption is that the rate is the portion of the workforce who are unemployed and that those not actively seeking work – because, after, like nine months, they still haven’t found anything and they’ve exhausted every means of looking tha they can access – are not part of the workforce.

    The Huffington Post says:
    .
“Rick Scott Not Sure Who Made The Campaign Promises That Rick Scott Made”.
    .
Does that men he is still clueless ? Just like his company ripping off Medicare ? But here is the real stem winder…He is going to cut spending by $7 billion in & seven years, but raise revenues by cutting taxes ? 700,000 jobs in seven years ? why wait so long, especially when Florida created 50,000 jobs in January alone without him doing anything ?

Nah, that part of the 47% they don’t concern themselves with. For little Ricky, the the Marquis du Mittens government is just another bust out con game for them

@wabbit: Alcee Hastings (D-Florida 23rd Congressional District) seems to do a great job of it. He can’t even vote for himself!
As to the ‘unemployment numbers: The Fed Gov stops counting them as soon as the ’worker’ goes on his 99 week all expenses paid ‘vacation’ dole. Who’s setting the criminal example here?

90 million people have left the workforce. That’s why the enemployment rate is falling, not because people are finding work. The more folks that quit looking, the better for Obama. That’s his hope.

I think your number might be a little high. That’s almost 29% of the total population.

I recently read up on this “real unemployment rate” thing. Just for perspective here the German way: as long as you get money from the agency you are a) counted and b) are required to seek work (you have to prove it by providing copies of your applications). But there are tricks even here: if you take part in job training or are sick or on vacation (yes, even unemployed people get vacations in Germany, believe it or not) then you are temporary not counted. But the gap between the official and “real” rate is much smaller, maybe one percent. The official number is 6.8% as of now and we are pretty content with that (the target would be around 4%, but in these times nobody expects miracles)…

That is the foundation for Obama’s understated unemployment numbers.

It all depends on which party the criminal belongs to and if he got rich off his crime.

The Bush recession began in December 2007, to this day he still denies we were ever in a recession on his watch.
