Jim Morin’s drawings won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning in 1996. He shared the Pulitzer in 1983 with other members of the Miami Herald editorial board, and was a Pulitzer finalist in 1977 and 1990. His work is syndicated internationally by the New York Times/CWS Syndicate.

Nice try. But the House is not the ones in contempt. They keep sending bills up but the Senate ignores them and says they are doing nothing. Why? Because the House refuses to bow down and do as they are told by Obama.

Remember that the House leadership said that their priority was to make sure that Obama was a one term president. Anything that would actually HELP the economy or the people or the state of the Nation would undermine that priority by making Obama look better.
Oh, for the good old days of a Do-Nothing Congress.

I held congress in contempt when they renamed french fries “freedom fries”, I hold congress in contempt every time they approve budgets they know they can’t afford, I held congress in contempt when they couldn’t put together a decent response to Stephen Colbert, I held the house in contempt when they didn’t start impeachment proceedings for W. I will continue to hold the house in contempt until they begin acting in the best interest of the people.

Where is the Justice?
When your and my Federal Government lets known criminals have assault weapons to KILL US (that is United States but it could equally mean us) and MEXICAN citizens, Where is the Justice?
I see your and my Justice Department fail to investigate clear video evidence of criminal acts and then run in to investigate clearly local matters, I wonder, Where is the Justice?
If the head of the JUSTICE department cannot investigate INjustice, then what good is it?

That is a good question. The closest thing to justice in the outing of Valerie Plame (actual treason) was “Scooter” Libby being tried for obstruction of justice. Even then, the President commuted his sentence. A senior official committed treason and made America less safe. No one was ever put on trial for it. Even the reporter who publicly outed the undercover agent in the newspaper was never tried. Where is the justice?
