No, what you are seeing is what life will be under a GOP “Orwellian” Oceania with Big Brother GOP monitoring your every move and thought…right down to and within your mother’s womb.

But only the GOP is for big, invasive government. It’s proved true in every state where they have control.

    @HOWGOZIT

How about Michigan, where a whole bunch of local governments have been swept aside on the orders of Republican Governor Rick Snyder…and replaced by ‘emergency managers’ all of whom were appointed, not elected.

    http://www.thenation.com/article/166297/scandal-michigans-emergency-managers

Oh and Snyder is also making these same communites pay six figure salaries to his managers….who were supposedly put in charge to clean up their finances

    How’s that for Big Goverment?

How about in Florida where we had Terri Schavio’s Law?
More recently we have the courts deciding redistricting, the courts deciding election law changes, and the sacking of a university.

Heh. Howdy should know better than to ask Dems to evidence their claims.

The first time we crossed swords on Go Comics was when he made that claim I never stop needling him about…that the Dems have actually controlled Congress since 2003

I asked him to explain that and he said it was by filibustering and blocking all the Republican legislation.

So I asked him to give me one specific example of a Republican bill, successfully blocked by the Dems, ( when they were in
    the minority. )

Know what his answer was? He indignantly informed me that, ‘SOME of us have lives outside the internet.’ ( or words to that effect ) and I didn’t see him here again for a month.

Can you pass the GOP mandatory sex and drug test? GOP, getting the government off the backs of rich people and right onto your reproductive system.

That’s mandatory unless you’re a genuine card carrying, check writing member of the GOP.

Here’s the pot calling the kettle black. He seems to have nothing to support his hypothesis, and turns to ad hominem insults. Good way to end an argument.

No, to be fair, the burden of proof is on me here…and I can’t prove it. I have no way of searching that far back.

All I can say is I remember what happened. It was one of the more memorable exchanges I’ve had here. and while those may not have been the exact words we said to one another, Howdy DID tell me something to the effect that “SOME of us have life outside the internet” when I asked him to name a single instance of the Dems blocking Repubilcan legislation rior to 2007

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
